Sheldon owns this prized piece of equipment jointly with Henry Brenner, Legacy Securities Corp., long-time friend, whose Father, Lester, represented the Peter Pirsch Company and sold this truck to the City. Henry's Grandfather was a Battalion Chief for the Fire Department and died in the line of duty in 1934. The City provided and installed a plaque on the truck honoring his memory. For additional information on this and other antique fire equipment, you are encouraged to visit the Memphis Fire Museum. |
